my OJT

I'm on my on-the-job training at the IT & Communications office of RDL Pharmaceutical Laboratory, Inc. The office is full of talented people. Web designing,Programming, Photo editing, Designing, and a lot more. Seeing this kind of people motivates me to learn those things. It is a chance for me to take advantage of the opportunity of acquiring new skills and knowledge because the people are also very well interested in imparting their experties to me. they were very accomodating and nice to me and my other "OJTiers". The company's call time is at 8:00 am. I usually arive around 7:45 - 8:05 am. I guess i was late about twice, about 3-5 mins - i believe still tolerable. In my stay, i have notice that there is this thing that seems to be so interesting for all employees. "Break Time", the all time favorite! Hahaha... I remember my co-student who's also serving his OJT(UICian) states that, "Alas dyes npud! Kaon npud" (10am, its eating time!). Now i know why a lot of office employee gets fat faster! Who wouldn't be!? Office employees is just sitting, facing computers, and eating. Its a daily routine for office employees! Enough of food. Let me talk about the talented staffs of the IT & Comm. office. Let me start with Andre since he's the first person you will meet upon entering the office ( He's sitting near the entrance of the office). Andre is a designer and a blogger too. He designs the packaging of the company's product. Next would be Saldentoy, the all around designer. He is very good in corell and adobe photoshop. He is the editor of the company's Advertising materials. He's a cool dude and a goodman! Now its Wilson's turn. A graduate of IT and a natural entertainer. He has a good sense of humor. He brings laughter in the office. Next is "Sir Jayson". He was a former teacher of web designing and developing. He uses PHP in programming web sites. He is expert in making flash. I can consider him as the biggest talent of the office. Next is the only lady in the office. She takes care of all the records of the office from inventory upto ordering of food for the office buddies. Next is Clemer a.k.a Saizy, haha.. He is expert in electronics he takes care of the electronic services of the office. He solder, test and repair electronic devices that is being brought to office. Lastly its Sir Rollie, he is the supervisor of the the IT & Comm. dept. He is the overall incahrge of the companies Network system and Database Management.
Whooo! That was a lot of talk. I was satisfied of OJT. It may not be the best but it was worthwhile. Being with these people is fun. I will surely miss the ambiance of the office and the nature of its work as I come back to school few weeks from now. Thanks a lot to RDL Pharmaceutical Laboratory, Inc. for allowing me to experience the real working and business world. I enjoyed it!
